Died Sunday At
Home In Hamlin

Had Been An Invalid For
Many Years. Funeral Was
Held This Afternoon

N. C. Paulsen died Sunday at his
home in Hamlin after a long ill
ness. He had been an invalid the
past 20 years and had been serious-
ly ill the past three months.

He was born in Denmark on
April 18, 1876, and when five years
of age came to America, locating
in Shelby county. He was married
there to Albertena Olsen on Octo-
ber 24, 1906, and moved to Hamlin
14 years ago.

Surviving are his widow and
two children, Sylvia and Velma, at
home; his mother, Mrs. Chris
Christensen of Harlan; three sis-
ters, Mrs. Carl Lorentzen of Hard-
ington, Nebraska, Mrs. Clarence
Doonan of Walnut and Mrs. Lyle
Martin of Harlan; five half-bro-
thers, Peter Christensen of Har-
lan, Marinus Christensen of Col-
fax, Andrew Christensen of Coler-
idge, Nebraska, Holm Christensen
of Walnu and Otto Christensen of
Council Bluffs.

Funeral services are being held
this afternoon at the Danish Lu-
theran church in Hamlin conducted
by the Rev. H. L. Jensen. Burial
will be in the Hamlin cemetery.
