Audubon Produce Dealer
Died At Mayo Hospital--------
Frank W. Hudspeth, 57, promi-
nent Audubon produce dealer, died
Sunday morning at the Mayo hos-
pital in Rochester, Minnesota, of a
cancerous brain tumor. He had
been a patient at the hospital since
July 5. Mr. Hudspeth was taken
seriously ill April 4 and was a pa-
tient at the Atlantic hospital for
about a week.He was born in Cass county near
Reno October 16, 1875. He lived
most of his life in Iowa and Nebras-
ka. He was educated in the Atlantic
schools and was married there De-
cember 6, 1899, to Rhoda Bradford.
Mr. Hudspeth was foreman of Swift
& Company in Atlantic for many
years.In 1910 he was made manager for
Swift in Audubon and in the fall of
1921, with J. C. and C. B. Parrott,
organized the Audubon Produce
company. The following year he
purchased the interest of C. B. Par-
rott and had been in partnership
with J. C. Parrott up to the time
of his death.Mr. Hudspeth is survived by his
wife, three children, Francis, Mabel
and Blanche, all of Audubon; one
grandchild; two brothers; Willis
Hudspeth of Omaha and Winifred
Hudspeth of Phoenix, Arizona, and
two sisters; Mrs. M. E. Smith, Lin-
coln, Nebraska, and Mrs. Appa
King, Salt Lake City, Utah.Funeral services were held Tues-
day afternoon at 2 o'clock at the
late home with the Rev. G. S. Nich-
ols, pastor of the Audubon Metho-
dist church, in charge. Burial was in
Arlington Heights cemetery.Note: Parents were Royal Hudspeth and Harriet Crawford.
