Young Wife Died
Suddenly At Audubon

Mrs. LaVere Phelps died unex-
pectedly Tuesday morning at the
family home in Audubon follow-
ing an illness of but six days.
She was taken ill with influenza
last Thursday and pneumonia de-
veloped only a few hours before
her death.

She was married to Mr. Phelps
at Carroll seven years ago and
they spent most of their mar-
ried life at Audubon and Carroll.

Note: According to the 1930 US census, her name was Catherine, married to Le Vere Phelps. LaVere Orv Phelps is listed in the Oregon, Death Index, 1903-1998, born June 11, 1906, Iowa, died June 07, 1983, Multnomah, Oregon.
