LOCAL HAPPENINGS

Mrs. Ray Faust left for Kansas City
Sunday where she will receive treat-
ment for cancer from a specialist
there.

Mrs. Ray Faust Died
Tuesday In Missouri

Mrs. Ray Faust died Tuesday after-
noon at Excelsior Springs, Missouri,
where she had been taking treatments
for cancer. She had been ill for sev-
eral months. The remains were
brought to Exira by train today.

Funeral services will be held at the
Christian church tomorrow afternoon
at two o'clock with Rev. Sherman B.
Moore in charge. Burial will be in
Exira cemetery.

kindly assisted me during the illness
and at the time of the death of my
