Funeral of Mrs. Fred
Hansen Held Here Today

Short funeral services were held this
afternoon over the remains of Mrs. A.
O. Hansen at the home of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. C. D. West. Rev. F.
Marriott had charge of the service.
Mrs. Hansen died Tuesday at the fam-
ily home at College Springs, death
resulting from cancer. Services were
held at the home there this morning
and the remains then brought to Exira.
Burial was in the Exira cemetery.

Anna Laura West was born in Exira
on March 29, 1895, and died at her
home in College Springs on May 15.
She was married to A. O. Hansen of
College Springs on December 23, 1914.
To this union were born two children,
Nadine and Clynord, who with the hus-
band mourn her loss. She is also sur-
vived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.
D. West, two brothers, Dayton and
Ernest West, all of Exira; two sisters,
Mrs. Fred Wahlert of Hillrose, Colo-
rado, and Mrs. Floyd Young of Exira,
besides a host of other relatives and
friends.

Mrs. Hansen was a loving wife and
mother. She was thoughtful of her
friends and devoted to her husband
and children. Many friends in this
community extend sincere sympathy
to the sorrowing husband and children.
