CARROLL COUNTY FARMER
MURDERED LAST FRIDAY

Frank H. Bluhm, 55 years old, a
farmer residing about six miles north-
east of Manning, was found with his
skull crushed late Friday afternoon a
quarter of a mile from his home. He
was taken to his home by those who
found him and died without regain-
ing consciousness. An inquest was
held by Coroner Forrest of Carroll
county Saturday afternoon. The jury's
verdict was that death was caused
by having his forehead crushed by
a blunt instrument, the assailant un-
known.
