Word has been received of the
death of Rev. James Clayton Mc-
Queery at the home of his son at
Columbia, Louisiana, where he was
visiting. Death occurred January
21, and was due to pneumonia. Rev.
McQueery was at one time pastor
of the Christian church here and
will be remembered by many of
the older residents.

Surviving him are his widow and
three sons.
