Lars Madsen, aged 77 years, died
suddenly Tuesday at the home of his
son, Hans Madsen, six miles west of
Audubon. Heart failure was the di-
rect cause of his death. He is surviv-
ed by the wife and son. Funeral ser-
vices were held at the Danish Luth-
eran church in Audubon yesterday af-
ternoon, conducted by Rev. F. C. M.
