Prominent Elk Horn Con-
tractor and Resident Dies

Clarence A. Anderson, 45, prominent
Elk Horn carpenter and contractor,
and life-long resident of that vicinity,
passed away at the home of his moth-
er, Mrs. Peter H. Anderson, there last
Thursday morning at 2 o'clock, fol-
lowing a prolonged illness with com-
plications.

Mr. Anderson was born September
21, 1884, on a farm near Elk Horn
and had made his home there since.
He was never married.

Surviving are his mother, five
brothers, William, Harry and Elmer
Anderson of Elk Horn and Fred and
Raymond here in Exira, and a sister
living at Creston, Nebraska. His
father passed away several years ago.

Funeral services were held Sunday
afternoon at 1:30 at the family home
and at 2 o'clock at the Danish Luth-
eran church, in Elk Horn, the Rev.
C. M. Videbeck having charge of the
services. Interment was at the Clay
township cemetery.
