AUDUBON MAN PASSES
AWAY YESTERDAY

Fred Meike, aged 50 years, resident
of Audubon, died at the home of his
sister, Mrs. Peter Johnson, near Gray.

The deceased was one of a family of
sixteen children, two brothers and one
sister having preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs.
John Zaiger of Audubon, and by four
daughters and two sons, his wife hav-
ing died several years ago.

Funeral services will be held at two
o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Eden
Valley church, Rev. H. N. Hulse of
Gray officiating. Burial will be made
in Cameron Center cemetery.
