PASSES AT NEVADA----------
Well Known Exira Lady Dies
of Anemia. Was Promi-
nent in Advent Circles----------
The death of Miss Hannah Larson
occurred Saturday evening at the Ad-
vent sanitarium at Nevada (IA), death re-
sulting from anemia. The deceased
was superintendent of the sanitarium
at Nevada at the time of her demise
and for several years previous to tak-
ing charge of the institution was the
head of the College View hospital
near Lincoln, Nebraska. She was
prominent in Advent church circles
of the state.Hannah A. Larson was born Janu-
ary 19, 1872, coming to this country
when a child. She was a stepdaugh-
ter of Mrs. P. C. Knudsen of this
place (Exira).Deceased is survived by one full
sister, Mrs. Tom Curt of Bentonville,
Arkansas, two full brothers, Chris C.
Larson of Casey and Louis Larson of
Toledo, Ohio; three half brothers, Al-
bert Larson of Harlan, Dan E. and
John F. Larson of Exira. Mrs. Henry
Hansen, wife of a missionary at Co-
lumbo, Ceylon, India, is a half sister.Funeral services were held Tuesday
afternoon at 1:30 p. m. at the Advent
church west of Exira, Rev. W. K.
Smith of Des Moines officiating. In-
terment was in the cemetery at Jack-
sonville.
