Young Lady Dies Following
Operation in Atlantic

Miss Helen Swinehart, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Swinehart (Joel Lincoln) of south-
east of Exira, died Thursday evening
at the Atlantic hospital, following a
major operation performed Wednesday
morning. Miss Swinehart had been
ill for several months at her home and
the only hope for her recovery was
through the operation.

Funeral services were held Sunday
at the Presbyterian church in Adair,
conducted by Rev. DeBerg. Burial
was in Sunny Hill cemetery.

She leaves to mourn her loss, the
parents, four sisters, Mrs. Grace Barns
of Omaha, Lenora, Dorothy and Jean
at home, three brothers, Charles and
Lynn at Adair, and Ted of Chicago.

During her lifetime, Helen enjoyed
the high esteem and respect of a wide
circle of friends and acquaintances who
extend their sympathy to the bereaved
relatives.

Ted Swinehart of Chicago was called
home by the death of his sister, Helen.
