LOCAL HAPPENINGS

An item we overlooked last week
was of the death of Charles Little-
field, who died July 4 at Clarinda.
Funeral services were held here at the
Christian church with the Rev. Sher-
man Mo(o)re in charge on July 6. Burial
was in Exira cemetery. The deceased
was 52 years of age and spent most
of his life near Exira.
