GRISWOLD MAN KILLED
NEAR RED OAK SUNDAY

Clifford McKeane, 42, well known
resident of the Griswold vicinity, liv-
ing four miles west of that place, was
instantly killed about 6:30 Sunday
evening, five miles north of Red Oak,
when his car turned over as he was on
his way home, accompanied by his
wife and four-year-old daughter, from
a visit with a brother-in-law near Red
Oak. The unfortunate man sustained
a broken neck and four broken ribs in
the accident and was dead when help
reached him. The other occupants of
the car were bruised and shaken up.

Funeral services were held Tuesday
afternoon at the Methodist church in
Griswold.
