Young Girl Dies After
Illness of Six Years

Martha, the fourteen-year-old
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Jensen who live two miles south of
Audubon, passed away at the home
of her parents last Wednesday af-
ter a lingering illness extending
over a period of six years.

She was born on January 5,
1908, at Exira and was afflicted
with an illness when eight years of
age from which she never recov-
ered. She is the eldest of several
children who, with the parents,
survive her.

Funeral services were held at the
home on Friday afternoon at one
o'clock in charge of Rev. F. C. M.
Hansen. Burial at the cemetery of
St. John's church west of Exira.
