MISS OLGA GJERLOFF
VICTIM OF INFLUENZA--------
The sad news reached here Mon-
day of the death of Miss Olga Gjer-
loff at her home in Audubon, that
morning at 7:00 o'clock. Death
was caused by influenza.Miss Gjerloff was a daughter of
Mr. Fred Gjerloff, who formerly
lived near Exira. She was born in
Pottawatamie county in February
1892. About a year ago her moth-
er passed away and shortly after
her death Mr. Gjerloff and daugh-
ter, Olga moved to Audubon where
they have resided. She is survived
by her father and three sisters.
They are Mrs. S. Jorgensen of
Haynes, South Dakota; Mrs. Laur-
ids Hansen of Exira and Miss Clara
Gjerloff of Des Moines.
The funeral services were held
yesterday at 12:30 at the home in
Audubon and the remains were
laid to rest in the St. John's ceme-
tery, west of Exira.Note:
WPA cemetery records give her birth date as 13 Feb 1890.
