SAD DEATH OF
INFANT DAUGHTER

The five months old baby girl of
Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson of West
Exira, passed away Monday after-
noon following an illness with
whooping cough. The little one
had been very sick and was taken
with convulsions, Monday morning.

The mother, Mrs. Johnson un-
derwent an operation two weeks
ago, and the baby was then taken
to the Frank Ballou home, where
she received the best of care, but
the disease could not be conquered.

The funeral service took place
yesterday afternoon at the home,
conducted by Rev. Lawton. We
extend sympathy.

Note:
I believe this may be the John Johnson who was the son of Peter and Katrina Birk Johnson, but not sure. KA
