Miss Edieth, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Nils Christensen east of Elk
Horn, and Mr. Daniel Larsen were
united in marriage at the Seventh
Day Advent church seven miles
northeast of here, on Wednesday,
February 20, at 2 o'clock p. m., Rev.
L. F. Starr of Stuart, Iowa, officiating.
Miss Knudsen acted as bridesmaid
and Mr. Axelsen as best man
and Miss Nora Nilsen played the
wedding march. The bride was very
prettily and tastefully gowned while
the groom wore the traditional black.
After congratulations the wedding
party repaired to the home of the
bride where a sumptuous dinner had
been prepared and to which all did
ample justice. Both bride and groom were born
and raised near here and both are respected
members of society in the
community in which they live and
we predict for them a prosperous and
happy married life. The young
couple will commence housekeeping
on the groom's farm a few miles
west of Exira. The Journal force
offers their sincere congratulations.Note: Parents of Daniel Edward Larsen were Lars Christian Larsen and Sine Katherine Christensen.
Parents of Edith Florence "Eda" Christensen were Nels Christensen and Christine Hansen.
