BREAKS OTHER LEG

-------

Thursday afternoon of last week,
Dale Clark, the 12 year old son of
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Clark, living
five and a half miles southeast of
town, had the misfortune to break
a small bone and fracture the large
bone in his left leg. He was riding
on a load of hay with the men. When
he went to alight he fell, bearing his
full weight on his good leg, favor-
ing his right leg, which was broken
at two different times last winter.
He was just beginning to be able to
get around with advantage, follow-
ing his recent injuries and now will
be compelled to lay idle again for
some time to come. A physician was
called to attend the injury, and as
the breaks are not as bad as first re-
ported, Dale will get along better
than expected. It is hoped by the
many friends of the family that
his injuries will not leave him in
a crippled condition.

Note: Parents of Dale L. Clark were William L. Clark and Mattie Maria White.
