FIRE DESTROYS FARM HOUSE

The farm home of Mrs. Rasmus
Rasmussen place near Hamlin was
completely destroyed by fire about
eleven o'clock last Friday evening.
The family was in bed when the fire
was discovered and barely made their
escape from the blazing building. It is
thought that the fire started in the
basement of the home. The farm
was visited by a tornado which hit
there last year and all of the out
building on the place were destroyed
by the twister.

The home, a modern structure, and
all of its furnishing, were lost in the
fire. The loss, however, was covered
by insurance.
