Ex-Governor Clarke Will De-
liver Commencement Ad-
dress on May 26th

A class numbering twenty-three will
graduate from the Exira high school
at the close of the term this year.
The commencement excerises will take
place at the high school auditorium on
Wednesday evening, May 26. Ex-
Governor Clarke will deliver the ad-
dress and diplomas will be given to
the members of the class by the presi-
dent of theschool board, Mrs. E. C.
Wilson.

The Junior-Senior banquet was held
at the high school building on Thurs-
day evening of last week.

Rev. Fr. Costello of Audubon will
deliver the baccaaureate sermon on
Sunday, May 23. The class motto,
"Give the world the best you have and
the best will come back to you," would
not be a bad subject for the sermon.
