I have a quilt made in WWII that has names of him and his unit and am trying to locate a surviving member or family or the VFW post the unit would have been associated with. The quilt is a wall hanging and has names of each unit member embroidered on each piece. Other names include;
Henry B, Harold F, Larry S and Ralph I all from Elgin IL.
Tony K Rockford IL.
H Carter Aurora IL.
F Mracek Hawaii.
George P Burlington Iowa.
Stanley and Clarence S from Elgin IL.
Virgil C
Homer S
Shorty G
B Bremhorst
Del B
Errett B

I would like to see this piece of history returned to someone who should have it. I bought it off ebay. This should be where these men can be honored for their service. If anyone can give me any info on any of these men, I would greatly appreciate it.
