Mary Ann (Woodrum) Morris

Mary A. Morris appears in both 1856 and 1860 on census in Independence Twp, Appanoose Co,IA as a widow with her children and mother. She is only 39 on the last census, then I cannot find her again. Is there a marriage in Appanoose for a Mary Ann Morris b. abt 1821 Indiana? Are there other nearby counties I maybe should be searching? I don't see any burials either. She just disappears? Looks like her husband Wm. W. Morris died between 1845 & Sept. 1850 in either Coles Co, Illinois or Putnam County, Indiana. Anybody have any information on any of these links to my ggg grandmother? Thanks.
