Puzzle....
Am searching for any information on my gg-grandmother. Her name was Martha Erma McConnell, born @ 1865.... Her father was William McConnell and mother was Lucinda Blackburn... She married Alvah B. McConnell, father(Abraham McConnell) mother(Elizabeth).....Alvah and Martha were married 1886 in Iowa, had a daughter Mary, born/died 1886, and then my grandfather-Albert (born 1888)....The puzzle is, my gg-grandfather died 1890, but cant find any records of Martha...The next census (1895)my grandfather (Albert) is shown living with his grandparents(Abraham and Elizabeth)...Have been trying for years to find out what happened to Martha,,,,did she die before her husband Alvah, that is why my grandfather went to live with his grandparents, with no 1890 census???, there is a gap where I cant find anything.... Have searched cemeteries, but have turned up nothing... Anyone, with any information, I would be most grateful.....
