Am trying to find out where in PA Jefferson Johnson(1800-1886) was from.According to several censuses,he was born in PA.He is buried in the Johnson cemetery along with his wife Margaret nee Giles(1811-1887)and several children.The father of my GG Grandmother was named Jefferson Johnson (mother unknown) and was from Philadelphia.He may have been a shoemaker.The Jefferson who settled in Appanoose CO,Independence Twp,Section 18 @ 1858 stated he was a shoemaker in the 1850 Greensboro Twp,Indiana census.Any info about him or his ancestry would be appreciated.
