Apparently there were no children. This is Robert's obituary. His address was Rural Route 1, West Liberty and he was a farmer.

ROBERT L. HYMES
[August 1, 1924 -- October 29, 1966]
WEST LIBERTY - Funeral services were held today at the Snider funeral home in West Liberty for Robert L. Hymes, 42, who died Saturday at University hospital in Iowa City following a lingering illness. Rev. Elmer Baker officiated. Mrs. Geneva Campbell was organist. Pallbearers were Marvin Blair, Jack Blair, Lloyd Howe and Henry Yoder. Interment was at the Oakridge cemetery. The son of Andrew J. and Mary Gleason Hymes, he was born Aug. 1, 1924 at Mystic, IA. resident of West Liberty for four years, he was a former resident of Illinois. Robert Hymes married Florence Miller in 1953 at Centerville. She survives. He was a member of the Christian faith. His occupation was farming. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
