Hi Jim, thank you so much for your responses to my query!

Here is my problem. I am not sure if MY William Walton is from Lancashire or not. I attached the England census records to him, but it may be in error. Are there parish records on line for Durham County? My great great grandfather was a miner and I imagine that is why he ended up in Iowa. Also, I have his citizenship document dated October 1880 in Illinois. I so appreciate your help...thank you so very much!
