Here’s Jacob Dilts in the 1880 Appanoose County census with his wife Marian:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MDKG-NX9

And here are two births of their children, which give Marian’s maiden name as Blaksly and Blakslee:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XV8Q-2P5

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XV88-XZX

Here’s Jacob Dilts in Hunderton County, NJ living with his father Lewis and mother Ann:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M6MV-Z5K

And here’s Lewis in the 1860 census in the same county:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MXC8-1SK

If you search on familysearch.org you will find that Ann and Jacob are in the same household.

If you do a “Find” on this site for “Lewis Dilts” you will find his marriage to Ann Hall on 8/29/1829 in Hunderton County:

This message board entry confirms what I found and adds additional information:

http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.dilts/250.2.2/mb.ashx

Here’s Mary Hall Dilts’ Findagarve entry which confirms Lewis as her husband:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=dilts&GSiman=1&GScid=521445&GRid=97272442&

That’s all I found on the Dilts line, so let’s go to the Blakeslee side (misspelled in the birth records above.

Here Marian Blakeslee in the 1850 census for Knox County, IL living with her parents William and Harriet:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M8R9-FP5

This submitted genealogy has her parents, William Tappen Blakeslee and Harriet Carpenter:

http://www2.suite224.net/~blakeslee/salapg2.htm

Marian’s not listed but the names of the other children match well with the 1850 Knox County, IL census. If you go all the way to the bottom of the page and click “Back” you’ll find William’s parents as Sala Blakeslee and Mary Marchant.

Here’s William Blakeslee’s Findagrave entry with his tombstone:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=104787&GRid=5544003&

And here’s Harriet’s, with a few additional facts:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=104787&GRid=31283013&

Here’s a bio entry for Sala Jr. from a Knox County book that confirms some of the above. Do a “Find” for Sala to view it:

http://www.illinoisancestors.org/knox/Biographies/1878book_b.html

And finally here’s a Findagrave entry for one of their daughters with additional facts, and William’s full name again:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=78665849

Some of the URL's don't end up as clickable links so you'll have to copy them into your browser to view them.

I hope this helps, and if you have any question post them here.
