you can see online what microfilms of appanoose county records are availble thru each fhc ...look under family search. for library catalog then under "place" and type in appanoose/....a list will appear of what appanoose county records they have available to order on microfilm....the films themselves can be ordered online as well.. family history centers rarely have "books" to look at...it has microfilm readers on which to read yourself the microfilms you have ordered, what I like best is that these microfilms are of the original records in the courthouse...not something someone else has interpreted.
