I now see I already provided the information about Clarence's father's name in an earlier post. I can't find any more than that.

Since Clarence Newman died on a known date (February 1, 1920 in Cincinnati) you could write to the folks at the Drake Public Library and see if they have an obituary near that date that lists his father's name to confirm what I found.
