John Nelson Reynolds

REYNOLDS

Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone there in Appanoose County has a way of helping me find out what happened to my ancestor John Nelson Reynolds (1839-1912). I know he was hit by a train while in his horse-drawn wagon- he worked as a teamster- but I do not know the exact date or circumstances. Through a letter I have that says it was "all over the papers", I've surmised it is some time between Oct 28-Nov 3, 1912) but could be a little off. I also do not know exactly where it happened, though he and his wife Harriet Olive Reynolds lived in Centerville most of their married life.
It would be wonderful to find out the details surrounding his death and where he is buried- I've searched for burial records and news sources in every way I can think to online but have come up empty on all counts.
I also have other questions about his family but I'm not sure if it is ok to combine requests in posts.

Thank you VERY much for any help you can offer,

Kristen
