HI Jim:

Thanks for the assistance. I strongly believe that is my Joseph Seales who died in 1874, but do not have any record of him having daughters Parthena or Lizzie. Then again, I know he had at least two earlier marriages.

I have the record for the marriage to Mary Underwood, but am trying to nail down if this is Mary Alexander, who is listed as the maiden name of the mother of George W. Seals, my ggg-grandfather. I saw some indication she may have been married to an Underwood after she was married to a Perkins because some children named perkins are with the family in a later census and she is living close to a Jacob Perkins (young enough to be her son ) in a census after Joseph's passing.

I'm hoping someone has more information on Mary Underwood's prior marriages or how to find her maiden name.
