BATES BETZ JOHN SCOTT MARIETTA INGRAM

I am searching for information on my gggrandfather, Anthony Betz (Bates) who moved with the oil and railroad crews from Thurber, TX to Mystic, IA in the early teens. He is listed on the 1920 Appanoose County Census with his wife, Eva Bell Betz and daughter, Edith (my ggrandmother). Anthony was born in Poland in 1866 and apparently died in Mystic in 1920. Can anyone tell me anything about him?

On a side note: I found several pictures of Mystic residents during that time, including these:

1. An obituary card with photo of JOHN H. SCOTT, b. 22 Jul 1861; d. 15 Aug 1909. Is this your family member?

2. A photo card of "Mrs. Marietta Ingram". The front says "T. Johnson, Mystic, IA). Is this your family member?
