According to the 1860 US Federal Census for Putnam Co., MO, Liberty Twp., enumerated 11 June 1860, at Chariton Mills, Amy L. Carr was the daughter of William H. and Jane Carr. Here is that census:

Dwelling 12, Family 12, starts line 26:
Wm H Carr, age 31, male, farmer, value real estate $500, value personal $200, born NY.
Jane Carr, age 30, b. OH.
Harriet L. Carr, age 5, b. OH.
Charles E. Carr, age 2, b. Ill
Amy L. Carr, age 1/12, b. MO

In the 1880 US Federal census for Putnam Co., MO, W. H. and Jane Carr are living in Lincoln Township, enumerated on 14 June 1880. William H. Carr is listed as a blacksmith.
