Abraham (Abram) Wood

My ancestor Abraham Wood b. 6 Feb 1823 Belmont County Ohio and d. 9 Sept 1893 was the administrator of his father's estate in Morgan County Ohio. He traveled to Morgan County to administer the estate. I have been unable to determine an exact dod for his father who was also named Abraham Wood. I know by the probate that it was before Dec 7, 1876. I believe it to be near the date of 25 Nov 1876 as that was the last date of his guardianship. If you have access to the newspapers of the time, please determine if this was documented including the date. If not please, advise me of the newspapers in the area at the time. I appreciate any assistance or direction you could give me.
