Eckerman and Reynolds, Photographers, and Pitts

I recently received copies of two photos, circa 1890-1900. The paper frame of one is labeled "Eckerman & Reynolds, Centerville, Iowa," the other is labled "Eckerman, Centerville, Iowa." It appears there may have been as much as five years between the photos.

Can anyone help with a closer date on when the photographer used these names?

I believe the first photo is of Genta Pitts, born 1883 in Iowa. I believe the second is of Genta and the other person may be her brother, Joseph L. Pitts (Jr.), who was born in Cherryvale, Kansas in 1886.

I don't have a clue why they were in Centerville. The family lived in Kansas from about 1885 until at least 1890. In 1900, Genta and her father lived in Meridian, Mississippi, although she had been adopted with a new last name of Wright.

If anyone recognizes Gentalina, Genta, Joseph L., Millicent, or Elizabeth Pitts in Centerville during the 1890s, I'd be very interested in hearing about them. Related families might be Peddicord or Rhines.
