I found the following information in the Chariton Township-Appanoose County, IA Cemetery Book published by the Appanoose Co. Genealogy Society in the 1980s:

SALEM CEMETERY (located in Section 2 of Chariton Township on the south side of Highway 142 east of Iconium)

Row 8

KASTER: Catherine-wife of Wm. d. Mar. 17, 1864 age-47y, 4m, 21d.

KASTER: Wm. d.Mar. 9, 1871 age-57y, 24d.

KASTER: Benjamin F.-son of Wm. & A. Kaster d. May 7, 1864 age-17y, 2d

? : Maria (broken stone)
(I included this one just in case it could possibly be one of your Kasters)
