Obituary for Janan Strandberg Anderson
Janan Strandberg Anderson, age 78,died from Alzheimer’s Disease on Saturday, January 23, 2016. She died at her home in Newnan with her caregiver, Ciara and family by her side.

Janan was born on January 9, 1938 in Centerville, IA to the late Hubert and Flossie Strandberg. Along with her parents Janan is preceded in death by sisters Linda, Zanna Lee and niece Margaret. She is survived by her two son's Stephen and Greg. She is also survived by her grandson Zechariah, granddaughter, Stephanie and great grandson Lawson.

Janan accomplished many things in her life. She was a successful business owner of many floral shops. Along with being artistic with the flower arrangements she created Janan was talented with the paint brush as well. She enjoyed dancing to music and singing to the Broadway musicals. She loved baking pies with her sister Linda and with her great attention to detail Janan was able to keep photo albums that tell the story of her beautiful life.

Janan was a very kind person who always had a smile for those she met. She cared deeply for her precious dogs Joy and Trixie and loved the company of her friends and neighbors. We have lost a loving mother, grandmother and friend but have gained an angel, whose name is Janan.

Requiescat in Pace.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for those who wish to make donations may do so to the Drake Avenue Christian Church, 303 Drake Ave, Centerville, IA 52544 in Janan’s name.
