Mrs. Matilda Josephine Strandberry, wife of Andrew Strandberry, died at 3:50 PM yesterday afternoon at her home, 812 S. 18th St.Street, after an extended illness which became serious within the last two weeks. Mrs.Strandberry suffered with a complication of diseases, beginning with whooping cough and including the liver and heart troubles. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. from the Swedish Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. P. M. Lindon and the remains were laid to rest at Oakland cemetery. Mrs. Strandberry whose maiden name was Lillya was born near Grenna, Sweden, May 15, 1861 and was at the time of her death, 31 years, 11 months and 28 days of age.
She came to this country is 11 years ago and was married to Andrew Strandberry January 18, 1894. Her husband and two little daughters, one 6 years and the other four years of age, survive her.
Her sister, Mrs. Alfred Allen resides in this city.

Please note that her married name was Strandberg, Strandberrry is erroneous.
