Helen Holman

Helen Marie Holman, 87, of Centerville, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1992, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.

She was born in Centerville, March 12, 1905, to Frank and Marie Holland Carmichael. She was united in marriage in West Grove in 1924 to William W. Holman. He survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Betty Holman of Centerville; as son, Rex of Keokuk; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; two sister-in-laws, Rula Chrisman of Unionville, Mo. and Mary Charmichael of Montreal, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.

The family will be at the Duley Funeral Home in Centerville for visitation Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. until noon to greet friends and neighbors.

At 12:30 p.m. a graveside service will be held at the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville.

Friends may call at the funeral home starting at 9 a.m. today. A memorial may be given in her memory to the American Heart Fund.
