Mrs. Tony Furlin

CENTERVILLE - Mrs. Maria Furlin, 72, died Friday evening at her home in Numa.

Born in Pennsylvania Oct. 10, 1889, she was the daughter of Tony and Carolina Zanona Vecchli. She married Tony Furlin May 24, 1924. He died in 1961.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Edith Furlin of Centerville, and Mrs. Carolina Corey of Des Moines; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Louise Grando of Joliet, Ill.

The service was held today at St. Mary's Catholic Church, conducted by the Rev. Bill Miller. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

The Rosary was recited Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home.

A memorial was established payable to the church.
