Lucy Lodwick Passed Away
Lucy Althera Lodwick of Mystic passed away Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at her home in Mystic, at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 9 days.
She was born in Appanoose county April 2, 1882 the daughter of John W. and Eliza Wright Fuller.
She was married to Gwlym Lodwick in Mystic, Iowa on June 2, 1907, who survives her passing along with three children, Dr. Gwlym S. Lodwick, Jr., Columbia, Mo; Thomas Lodwick, Austin, Texas; Mrs. Marjorie Fuller of Salt Lake, Utah.
Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, a brother Shuble Fuller, Muscatine, two half-brothers, Robert Fuller, Rock Island and Howard Fuller, Mystic. Two sisters, Mrs. Emma Taylor, Detroit, Mrs. Ida Thorne, Cowdrey, Colo., and a half-sister Mrs Kate Young, Mystic.
Mrs. Lodwick was a member of the Methodist church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. from the Methodist church in Mystic with Rev. Kermit Gladfelder officiating. Burial will be in Elgin cemetery. Friends may call at Johnson Funeral home until noon Saturday.
