JAMES MCGRANN TAKEN BY DEATH
James McGrann, Sr. age 80, died last night at 9 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs Janet Sniff at Little Rock, Arkansas. In death he leaves three daughters and two sons, who are; Mrs. Edna Clark of Mystic, Mrs. Elsie McDonalds, also of Mystic, and Mrs. Mary Stucker of Attaliss, Iowa and two sons, William and James Jr. of Mystic..
He also leaves 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mr McGrann was a well known Mystic resident having been a butcher, both wholesale and retail for many years.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 o'clock from the Mystic Methodist church with Rev. M.R. Gonzalez officiating. Masonic rites will be held.
