Wm. Mitchell, 70, Succumbs

Centerville-- William (Rusty) Mitchell, long time resident of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 1969, at 3:45 at St. Joseph Hospital at the age of 79 years, 7 months, 6 days.

Mr. Mitchell was a retired I. S. U. [Iowa Southern Utility] employee and a member of the Eagles Lodge.

He was born in Lucas County, Iowa, the son of Alexander B. and Margaret McPhee Mitchell.

Surviving are a sister, Miss Elizabeth Mitchell of Centerville, and several nieces and nephews including John L. Mitchell of Centerville.

His parents, six brothers and a sister all preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Mayes officiating and burial in the Oakland Cemetery.
