MYSTIC—Ernest Massey died at the St. Joseph Hospital in Centerville Wednesday, May 11, 1960.
Born in Yorkshire, England, February 23, 1879, he had lived in Mystic a number of years. He
was married February 3, 1907 to Joanna Davidson. He was a retired miner, and a members of
the United Mine Workers of America.
Surviving are his wife, two children, Robert Massey of Detroit, and Mrs. Alva Gallagher, of Mystic; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren: and one sister, Mrs. Florence Tingle, Mystic.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here, with the Rev. Glen
Lochhead officating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.
