OBITUARY
Our little Elsie our darling child
We loved you oh! So well.
Our griefs and heart aches are so great.
We can never, never, tell.
Died of paralysis of the heart caused by diptheria April 12th 1902
Age 6 years, 6 month and 15 days.
Little Elsie daughter of Wm. And Emma Hollingsworth
Home is not home for Elise is not here,
Angles have taken her out of our care,
Dreary is the room, empty is her chair.
She is gone yes, to that home peaceful and fair.
Gone and the seasons to come and go.
We'll wreath her grave with blossoms and snow,
Well have we loved you but God loved thee more.
He called thee away to that, bright heavenly shore.
We gathered around her dying bed with hearts to weep and pray
And many were the tears wh shed when our darling Elsie passed away.
No bitter tears has she to weep no sins to be forgiven.
But closed her peaceful eyes in sleep to open them in heaven.
Papa and mamma will try to meet her in better world than this.
Where there is no abiding city's there is a land of perfect bliss,
