DEATH OF MRS. JAMES SWINFORD
That terrible and ever fatal disease consumption has claimed another victim in our city. This time it has taken a young woman yet in the spring of life and tore her from the little family circle where to day a husband and two children mourn the death of a wife and mother. Mrs. James Swinford died this morning at the age of twenty years. She has been suffering with consumption for the past four months and her death while greatly mourned was not unexpected.
She was married to James Swinford about three years ago and has ever since resided in Centerville. Her remains will be interred in the Dale Church Cemetery north of town tomorrow. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. H. H. Abrams
of the Christian Church of which she was a member.
