- The funeral of J. J. Pratt, who died Thursday evening, was held Sunday morning from the late residence, 202 South 12th street, conducted by the Masonic lodge. The Knights Templar sent a delegation as a guard of honor and the G. A.R. and W. R. C. attended in a body.
The attendance at the funeral was very large be speaking the esteem in which the departed brother and friend was held in this city. Interment was made in Oakland cemetery.
