DIED AFTER A FEW HOURS
ILLNESS FROM HEART TROUBLE

Mrs. Julia Gordon Taken Sick Sunday
Morning and Died Before Noon Here.

Mrs. Julia Gordon, wife of Howard Gordon, custodian of the fire department, while doing her morning house-work yesterday, was taken suddenly ill with heart trouble and died at 12:30
all efforts to alleviate her suffering and stay off death proving futile. Arrangements have been made to hold the funeral from the home on North Eighteenth street tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The deceased was 67 years of age and had always previously been in good health never having any heart trouble before and her sudden death is a great shock to the community, where she was so well loved by her family and neighbors and friends. She was an affectionate wife and mother and her husband and children have lost their dearest companion on earth.

Mrs. Julia Gordon died rather suddenly at her home on l6th street last Sunday. She had been
doing her morning work and making preparation for dinner when was suddenly taken ill and passed away in a very short time; heart failure being the cause of her death.
Mrs. Julia Gordon was the wife of Howard Gordon the chief of the Fire Department. She has been a resident of Centerville for many years and hasmany friends.
