MRS. ADAMSON IS TAKEN BY DEATH

Death Came at Home West Of
Centerville Today—Was Well
Known; Long Time - Resident

Carrie Temple Adamson, 64 yrs. of age, and one of Appanoose county's widely known and loved
farm residents, died at her home southwest of this city at 9:45 a. m. today following an
illness of 11 weeks. Mrs. Adamson, who was the wife of B. B. Adamson, former member of the Appanoose County Board, was born in Independence township and had lived her entire life here residing since 1920 on the farm at which her death occurred.
She was united in marriage March 10, 1889, and was the Mother of nine children, eight of
whom are living. She also leaves beside her husband two sisters and a brother. A member of
the Christian Church Mrs. Adamson was a woman of fine Christian character and was a gentle kind mother, and a loving friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held from the Christian church in Centerville at 11 a. m. Saturday,
with the Rev. H. E. Trimble officiating.
Burial will be in the Concord cemetery. Complete obituary announcements will follow later.
